Ethanol plant plans discharged into creekJun 13 2007 7:33AM
Associated Press Edmunds County commissioners have approved the discharge, and Brown County commissioners plan to meet as a drainage board next week on the request. Glacial Lakes Energy is building a 100-million-gallon ethanol plant in the area. The company wants to pipe its wastewater three and a-half miles to Snake Creek largely along a railroad embankment. The Brown County planning and zoning director says the creek should be able to handle the extra water without problems. (Copyright 2007 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
