Fence exhibit comes to North DakotaDec 9 2007 10:16AM
Associated Press A Smithsonian exhibit called "Between Fences," is in Beulah for a month. Then it goes to five other cities in the state. It's part of the Smithsonian's "Museum on Main Street" program. People in Beulah are expanding it. Local artists have decorated fences of their own. They'll be sold at an auction to benefit the Knife River Care Center, which is moving into a new facility later this month. Businesses are decorating sections of picket fence made by the Beulah High School shop classes. The city also plans a fence decorating contest. The exhibit will be at Beulah City Hall until January 18th. Then it moves to Belcourt. (Copyright 2007 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) APNP 12-09-07 1001CST |
