PIERRE, S.D. (AP) Legislation becoming law over the veto of Governor Rounds will create a combination off-sale beer and wine license.

For $175 a year, convenience stores and other businesses with off-sale beer licenses will be allowed to also sell wines.

Supporters say the new law will help promote the winery business in South Dakota.

South Dakota has 14 wineries.
