SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) The two candidates in the race for South Dakota's seat in the U.S. House of Representatives meet Wednesday in a debate at the Dakotafest farm show in Mitchell.

Republican Chris Lien is challenging Democratic Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin.

She was elected to the U.S. House in 2004 and is running for a third two-year term.

Lien is an attorney from Rapid City and an officer in a family owned mining and manufacturing business. It's his first bid for elected office.
