Grand Forks, N.D. (AP) A 58-year-old Grand Forks man was arrested on several outstanding warrants after a police chase in the city late yesterday afternoon.

Authorities say Floyd Toney fled on foot after hitting another vehicle, but was apprehended by officers who used a Taser stun gun on him. The driver of the other vehicle wasn't hurt.

Toney was arrested on the outstanding warrants, which included removing a child from the state in violation of a custody order.

The sheriff's office say he'll also face new charges stemming from the chase.
