The City of Rugby has a new Police Chief. Luis Coca was appointed at the City Council Meeting on Monday, Novemeber 3rd and will be sworn in by the Mayor tomorrow.

The public Safety Committee conducted interviews and selected Coca as its top choice.

Coca has extensive law enforcement background history having worked in Ward County and Burlington.

He will be hiring two additional police officers in the next 30 to 45 days.

If the name sounds familiar it is becuase Coca was also running for Ward County Commissioner.
