KXMBTV Bismarck But what if you're pregnant, on bed rest, and your fiance is more then 27 hours away. 27 hours wasn't far enough to keep one couple apart. But there was something a little more special about this Thanksgiving. Hollie and Steve Fader were married today in the first ever Ronald McDonald wedding. Hollie is an out-of-state high-risk maternity patient who has been staying at the Ronald McDonald house for the past few weeks. She was visiting her mother in Jamestown when she started having issues with the pregnancy and was brought to Bismarck to remain until she has the baby. Kathy Keiser of the Ronald McDonald house says she's excited to be hosting the event for the family. Kathy Keiser/Ronald McDonald House: "The Ronald McDonald house is all about taking care of families and they're children so we are just delighted to beable to participate in this wonderful couple starting a life together." Hollie's new husband Steve will be deployed to Iraq after the first of the year but he came to Bismarck today for a thanksgiving to remember. Steve and Hollie Fader/Newlyweds: "It just got postponed with being in bed rest and just decided this was the right time with family here and thanksgiving, just a lot of things to be thankful for. Being able to get away from work and everything." The couple will spend the weekend together and Steve will return to base on Sunday.
