Associated Press ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP) Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says Pakistan is "very focused" and she thinks "very committed" to finding those behind the terror attacks in India. Rice met with Pakistani leaders after hearing India's accusation that the gunmen came from Pakistan. MUMBAI, India (AP) Days after the terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India, police say they've found a grenade outside a hospital. It was reportedly discovered by a patient in a box of garbage behind the hospital, which was the scene of an attack. The bomb squad was quickly called in. BAGHDAD (AP) The U.S. military says four suspected insurgents were killed as troops surrounded a building in Kirkuk where a member of al-Qaida in Iraq was believed hiding. A total of 32 other suspected al-Qaida members were detained in that and other operations. Washington (AP) The latest reports on retail sales and unemployment benefits, which come out this morning, are expected to continue a disheartening trend. November's retail sales are believed to have slid 1 percent, and new claims for jobless benefits are thought to have risen by 8,000 last week. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) A new poll breaks down the voting on California's proposition to ban gay marriage. It finds that 85 percent of Evangelical Christians voted for the ban, along with 69 percent who did not attend college, and 63 percent who make less than $40,000 a year.
