BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) A 59-year-old Ramsay woman has died from injuries she suffered in a barrel racing competition held in connection with the Montana State University Spring Rodeo.

Officials say Joyce Arms died from head injuries Saturday after she was thrown from her horse and hit her head on panels in the arena.

(AP) Union workers at the Rosebud Mine have voted to approve a new four-year contract, and are scheduled to go back to work tomorrow. Workers have been on strike since March 20 over contract language that dealt with respect, dignity and safety.

A mediator helped negotiate the contract.

Officials say that a truck driving northbound carrying a tracked excavator struck the Lower Sun River Road Bridge on Saturday night, knocking out a large piece of contcrete from the bridge.

The jackpots in the other lotteries will increase for the mid-week drawings, while the Montana Cash jackpot goes back to its guaranteed minimum of $20,000.
