A nonprofit group that seeds crops for farmers in need is about to wrap up spring planting.

Farm Rescue seeds crops for farmers who are sidelined by illness, injury or weather disasters.

Founder Bill Gross says the group finished planting for a farmer north of Casselton yesterday.

He says the next stop is for a farmer in Browns Valley, Minnesota.

Gross says a total of 14 farmers were helped this spring. He says 12 are in North Dakota with one each in South Dakota and Minnesota. watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
