http://sayanythingblog.com/index.php A lot of people on the right are upset over Rush Limbaugh’s dislike of John McCain, accusing him of setting his bar for who is and is not an appropriately conservative candidate too high. Apparently these people feel that Limbaugh should carry water for whoever the Republican nominee is instead of adhering to his political principles
Michael Medved has been one of the loudest of these critics, citing McCain’s rise in the GOP primary this year as evidence of Limbaugh’s declining influence and even going so far as to accuse Limbaugh of acting like a liberal
One wonders if Medved actually believes this line of argument or is simply baiting Rush in order to get mentioned a dozen or so times on the most listened to talk radio show in the country. Regardless, I doubt the condescension from people who feel as Medved does toward those conservatives who want a candidate that is strong on illegal immigration and isn’t a populist is going to gain a lot of traction. In the end many Republicans may be willing to acknowledge the inevitability of a McCain nomination, and support him because he’s at least an improvement over a Hillary presidency, while still recognizing that he’s a terrible candidate when it comes to certain other issues like illegal immigration, campaign finance reform, fiscal conservatism, etc
But that doesn’t mean all Republicans will, and people on the right like Medved may live to regret their attempts to shove McCain down everyone’s throats when disillusioned Republicans of the more libertarianish variety/border securityish variety choose to stay home instead of support him

I catch O'Reilly when I can but my main man is Dennis Miller
He is sharp and has a quick mind and one on one I belive he
could hold his own with any talk show host. The best thing about
Dennis he isn't full of him self...
