Associated Press BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) Former MSU men's Basketball assistant Danny Sprinkle is returning to Cal State Northridge to be an assistant coach for the Matadors. Sprinkle left he Bobcat team in April to explore coaching opportunities on the West Coast. Bozeman television station KTVM confirmed the hiring Wednesday with CSUN athletic coordinator Bob Vasquez. He said Sprinkle signed a one-year contract. Sprinkle is a Helena native who played for the Bobcats from 1995-99 and is the top 3-point shooter in school history. He was an assistant at CSUN for six seasons before taking the MSU job in 2006. He had been the recruiting coordinator for the Matadors for three seasons.
