Neche port closed to trucksApr 14 2009 5:03PM
Associated Press NECHE, N.D. (AP) Commercial truck traffic crossing the U.S.-Canada border at Neche in northeastern North Dakota is being rerouted through the Pembina or Walhalla crossings, because of flooding. U.S. Customs and Border Protection says the Manitoba Highway Department has put a dirt berm across the highway at the Gretna port on the Canada side of the border. The Neche port is still open, and passenger vehicles are still being allowed through. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) APNP 04-14-09 1651CDT |
