Associated Press Valley City, N.D. (AP) Valley City's mayor says residents can flush their toilets again on a limited basis. The sewer system is being restored after it failed under pressure from the Sheyenne River earlier this month. (Information from: Steve Urness, KOVC-AM, http://www.newsdakota.com) Bismarck, N.D. (AP) Police say a 47-year-old Mandan man was arrested after the pickup he was driving crashed into the admitting area of the St. Alexius Hospital emergency room in Bismarck. He's charged with driving under the influence of prescription drugs. No one was hurt in the crash early this morning. BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) North Dakota senators have approved a proposal to set up a public health trust fund in the state constitution. The amendment that now goes to the House would supplant a ballot measure that North Dakota voters approved last year that set aside money for tobacco control and established a three-member committee to run the program. CASSELTON, N.D. (AP) Authorities say a Casselton man is dead after a farm accident. They say 68-year-old Peter Kieffer was struck in the head, apparently after a piece of farm machinery came loose as he was working on it yesterday afternoon. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press.
