Here is the latest North Dakota news from The Associated Press

Bismarck, N.D. (AP) The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is recommending that each state have enough antiviral medicine on hand to treat 25 percent of its population in the event of a swine Flu outbreak. An Associated Press survey shows that North Dakota is almost at that threshold, at 24 percent. And Tim Wiedrich (WEED'-rick) with the state Health Department says he believes the figure might be as high as 29 percent.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) The North Dakota Game and Fish Department is lowering the number of deer hunting licenses available this year by about 5,000 from last year's record 149,400. A series of mild winters had boosted the deer population, but last winter was one of the worst in recent memory.

(Information from: The Dickinson Press, http://www.thedickinsonpress.com) BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) North Dakotans might not have to worry about one kind of tax form soon. Legislators have decided to get rid of the so-called ND-2 form. It allows some tax deductions and credits. But most taxpayers don't save money by using it and most don't use it.

Medora, N.D. (AP) Officials are working to get the Bully Pulpit Golf Course at Medora back in playing shape after Little Missouri River flooding left silt on the greens and fairways. Golf operations director David Solga says he hasn't seen anything like it in 20 years. On some holes the silt was 4 inches deep.
