Safe Routes to School money announcedMay 9 2009 11:05AM
Associated Press Bismarck, N.D. (AP) Thirteen North Dakota cities are getting a total of $1.4 million through the Safe Routes to School program. The federal program aims to improve infrastructure and also encourage students to walk or ride their bikes to school. Gov. John Hoeven says cities getting money are Washburn, Casselton, Harvey, Ellendale, Walhalla, Fargo, Milnor, Hettinger, Stanley, Fargo, Grand Forks, Rugby and Kindred.
