Burke County fire death ruled apparent suicideJun 2 2009 9:55AM
Associated Press COLUMBUS, N.D. (AP) Northwestern North Dakota authorities say the death of a woman found in a Burke County home after it was set on fire was an apparent suicide. The sheriff's office said 31-year-old Aubrey Guymon (GY'-mon) was found Sunday afternoon inside the burning home in Columbus. She was taken to a Crosby hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The sheriff's office says an autopsy report shows Guymon died from smoke inhalation after the fire was started by igniting gasoline in the home's living room. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press.
