Associated Press Jamestown, N.D. (AP) Some disaster recovery centers in eastern North Dakota are closing, another sign of the waning of the spring flooding threat. Federal and state officials planned to close centers in Jamestown, Valley City and Fessenden late today. Medora, N.D. (AP) Gun owners can dig out the family heirloom and have it evaluated by firearms experts in Medora. The weekend gun show is at the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame. One of those scheduled to help with gun evaluations is Doug Wicklund, curator of the National Firearms Museum. Dickinson, N.D. (AP) Stark County officials are trying to find ways to deal with cramped offices for the county's 117 employees. Commissioner Ken Zander says the county has known for years that its offices were running out of room, and it's time to deal with the issue before it becomes critical.
