Associated Press Bismarck, N.D. (AP) North Dakota's Supreme Court has decided that a district judgeship should stay in Dickinson. It's now held by Judge Allan Schmalenberger, who retires next month. Schmalenberger is one of three trial judges in the Southwest Judicial District. Valley City, N.D. (AP) Valley City Administrator Jon Cameron says officials will ask the Federal Emergency Management Agency to allow six stretches of dikes to remain for at least a year. Officials estimate road damage in Barnes County at more than 3 million dollars from spring flooding. (AP) A Fargo woman has pleaded guilty to attempted murder charges in what police say was an attempt to poison her daughters and herself with vehicle exhaust. East Grand Forks police say they found Etienne and her two daughters inside a running sport utility vehicle in their garage last June.
