St. A's Buys Land in Northwest Minot

A land sale on Minot's northwest edge could have big implications for the Magic City.

Today Saint Alexius Medical Center of Bismarck purchased 20 acres of land at the intersection of the highway 83 bypass north and 21st Avenue in Minot.

This is the area of land on the bypass purchased today by Saint A's that is ajdacent to ING.

In a press release from Saint A's President and CEO Andrew Wilson......... he says the expansion into the Minot area will make it easier and more convenient for those patients and families that would like use Saint Alexius services.

Wilson says they will be completing the land use feasibility study and related plan for service development in the next 12 months.

He says specific site use plans will follow and construction on a medical facility will follow a short time later.

Right now it's not clear if Saint Alexius will built a hospital or a clinic on the land in northwest Minot but the information provided to us is that construction of a medical facility will take place sometime after feasibility study is completed in the next 12 months. watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
