Dickinson, N.D. (AP) Stark County officials say a powerful storm last night tore off roofs, uprooted trees and knocked out power in the southwest part of Dickinson. No injuries were reported. National Weather Service meteorologist Rich Leblang says authorities have to assess the damage to determine whether it was from a Tornado.

RUGBY, N.D. (AP) A Rugby jail and treatment center is now being run by Pierce County under a new name. Administrator Elaine Little says the Rugby Area Job Development Authority bought the North Central Correctional and Rehabilitation Center from the federal government for about $2 million, and then leased the facility to the county. The center's name has been changed to the Heart of America Correctional and Treatment Center.

The issue is whether county employees and commissioners who have keys to the back door can use it to avoid security screening at the main door.

Sheriff Vern Erck says not unless he gives permission. Commission Chairman Bruce Christianson says county workers aren't threats to courthouse security.

(AP) Grand Forks leaders are questioning the name of a disc Golf event, and some area disc golfers have threatened to boycott the "4-2-0 Frolf" tournament. Frolf is short for "Frisbee golf," and 4-2-0 is a sequence of numbers that some say is a little too close to 420, the slang term for smoking marijuana. Tournament organizer Hugo Gomez says that isn't the reason for the name, and he's willing to change it.
