Associated Press GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) A 65-year-old Omaha, Nebraska, man died when he lost control of his motorcycle on U-S Highway 89 near Neihart (NY'-hart) in Cascade County. The victim's name has not yet been released. The Montana Highway Patrol says the rider was headed north on U-S Highway 89 at around 3 o'clock yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon, when he failed to slow down for a curve in the road. The patrol says he drifted off the side of the highway before he was thrown from the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Highway Patrol says the man was wearing a helmet; and says speed is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash. It was Montana's 124th highway fatality this year, compared to 117 on the same date in 2006.
