Kevorkian: Other doctors support assisted suicideJun 5 2007 10:12AM
Associated Press Appearing on N-B-C's "Today" show, Kevorkian rattled off poll numbers suggesting that many other doctors have assisted in suicides, and that some still do so. Kevorkian claims to have participated in at least 130 assisted suicides, but says he never met with a patient without a report from the patient's doctor. Kevorkian left prison last week after more than eight years behind bars. Kevorkian has promised never to help in another assisted suicide. His parole officer has said Kevorkian can speak about assisted suicide, but can't put out anything that shows how to make a device like the machine he devised to give lethal drugs. % |
