Bird flu testing continuesSep 22 2007 6:54PM
Associated Press Nearly 400 ducks shot during the hunting season in northeast and east central South Dakota will be tested. The Game, Fish and Parks Department began testing waterfowl and migratory birds last year to see if they might have picked up bird flu from birds that travel between Asia and Alaska. So far, there's no sign of the disease in the U-S. (Copyright 2007 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) APNP 09-22-07 1845CDT |
