Dog AdoptionNov 17 2007 11:15PM
KXMBTV Bismarck Back in October, we brought you the story about 18 neglected and malnourished dogs found in a rural home near Cogswell. Some of the dogs were brought to the Central Dakota Humane Society, while others were brought to a shelter in Jamestown. The sick dogs, were all extremely thin and in poor physical condition....but now they've been nursed back to health. And some are ready to have a home says the CDHS director, Sue Buchholz. (Sue Buchholz/Director)"Jackaroo here, is the first dog that we're able to adopt out. The ones we got from Cogswell on October 4. We're pretty excited and he's excited too. He's happy to go." Danielle and Bradley are the excited new owners of the first Cogswell dog to be adopted. They said their new dog is sweet, cute, and fun to play with, and his name, is Copper. (Danielle and Bradley/owners)"We're going play with him alot, we're going, we're going to walk him, and we're going to take him outside to go to the bathroom." Buchholz says 5 out of the 14 dogs are ready to go and only one is spoken for. If you have any questions about the dogs, or would like to learn more about adoption, contact Buchholz at 667-2020.
