Accused cop impersonator now charged with stealing cemetery vases...Jan 10 2008 8:31AM
Associated Press RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) The Rapid City man accused of stealing medicine while dressed as an undercover police officer has now been charged with stealing vases from a cemetery. Police say 25-year-old Sean Curington sold the vases from Pine Lawn Memorial Cemetery to a local buyer the same day he was picked up for stealing prescription drugs from a woman. Pacific Steel Shop called police the day after Curington's arrest to report it. All 61 vases have been returned to the cemetery. Officers say a 17-year-old was also caught selling stolen vases but hasn't been charged. (Thanks KOTA-TV) (Copyright 2008 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) APNP 01-10-08 0822CST |
