Mpls. judge wants JFK material in national archives, not Dallas...Mar 1 2008 9:57PM
Associated Press DALLAS (AP) The Dallas County district attorney says he may donate long-hidden items related to the assassination of President Kennedy to The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. But U.S. District Judge John Tunheim (TOON'-hyme) of Minneapolis is urging Craig Watkins, Jr., to donate the material to the National Archive's Kennedy Assassination Collection in College Park, Maryland, instead. During the 1990s, Tunheim was chairman of the U.S. Assassination Records Review Board. Watkins says he will not make a final decision until next week. The items include a purported transcript between Kennedy assassin Lee Harvey Oswald and his killer, nightclub owner Jack Ruby and a movie contract signed by Henry Wade, then Dallas County's district attorney.
