Herseth Sandlin, Lien campaign fundraising numbers in

Washington (AP) Figures show that Democratic Congresswoman Stephanie Herseth Sandlin has raised a total of $1.1 million so far in her re-election effort.

Her opponent, Republican Chris Lien (LEEN) of Rapid City, has raised around a third of that $333,000.

But Lien remained competitive with Herseth Sandlin in the most recent filing period. Between May 15th the last report filed before the June primary and June 30th, Herseth Sandlin raised $165,000 and Lien raised $112,000.
