Associated Press DENVER (AP) Michelle Obama has told a cheering crowd at the Democratic Convention that her husband "will finally bring the change we need." She says he'll end the war in Iraq and revive a sputtering economy. DENVER (AP) Senator Ted Kennedy's voice was strong as he told the first night of the Democratic Convention that, "The work begins anew, the hope rises again and the dream lives on." Kennedy, who is battling brain cancer, got a rousing reception. BURBANK, Calif. (AP) John McCain has defended his wife's wealth during an appearance on "The Tonight Show." McCain says his father-in-law came home from war, made a business and made the American dream. BAGHDAD (AP) Iraq's prime minister is insisting that all foreign troops be out of the country by the end of 2011. It's one of the challenges facing U.S. and Iraqi negotiators working out a deal on the future of America's military presence. BOISE, Idaho (AP) A wildfire fanned by strong winds has consumed at least seven homes in Boise, Idaho. It moved quickly through dry grass and shrubs. There are no reports of injuries.
