It's homecoming week at Minot State University and what would homecoming be without a king and queen to oversee the week's festivities?

Tonight was coronation night at MSU and the ceremony was a bit different this year

There were 27 king and queen candidates as each department nominated candidates instead of having the entire student body vote for a list of finalists.

The king? Ken Story - a broadcasting major from the Minot Air Force Base.

The queen? Vanessa Anderson a German and Sociology major from Jamestown.

Of course the big finale to homecoming week is the Football game against Valley City State at 1:30 on Saturday at Herb Parker Stadium. watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
