Documentary Being Made About ND's Voting LawsNov 3 2008 11:10PM
KXMCTV Minot Filmmaker Jacob Soboroff says they came to North Dakota because it's the only state without voter registration. Secretary of State, Al Jaeger, says there has never been a problem because of no registration. What that means is you go to the precint you've lived in for at least 30 days and show an I.D. and you can vote. Jaeger says it makes it easier for people to vote... (Al Jaeger / ND Sec. of State) "It benefits the voter and we have so many options for voters to vote today. They can vote by mail, they can vote absentee, they can vote at an early voting precinct in one of those counties that have it and certainly they can vote at the polls on Tuesdasy." And here's something interesting one third of all the people who voted four years ago have already voted. At noon the number of early voters was at 103,546.
