Stimulus slowed...Richardson out...Franken in?

Washington (AP) Democratic leaders in Congress say a massive economic stimulus plan isn't going to be ready as fast as they had hoped. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer tells "Fox News Sunday" Democratic leaders are aiming to have it passed by mid-February.

WASHINGTON (AP) New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson has withdrawn his nomination for commerce secretary. A federal grand jury has been looking at how a California company that contributed to Richardson's political activities won a New Mexico transportation contract worth nearly $1.5 million.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) Democrat Al Franken's 225-vote lead in Minnesota's Senate race is expected to be certified Monday. Still, Republican incumbent Norm Coleman could challenge the results in a lawsuit during the seven-day waiting period before the election certificate is completed.

NEW YORK (AP) LG Electronics is set to announce a partnership with Netflix. It will start selling high-definition TV sets that stream Netflix videos directly from the Internet. The head of Netflix calls it the natural evolution of the video streaming service.
