Associated Press HARPERSVILLE, Ala. (AP) Federal agents have arrested a man who apparently tried to fake his death in a plane crash. Investment adviser Marcus Schrenker was taken into custody at a Florida campground Tuesday night. A U.S. Marshal's office spokesman says Schrenker had cut a wrist, but is still alive. EL RENO, Okla. (AP) Texas authorities have arrested a man being sought in connection with the deaths of an Oklahoma woman and her four young children. Police arrested Joshua Durcho after a check of his identity determined he was wanted for murder in Oklahoma. He had been injured in a car accident. Washington (AP) With less than a week until he's inaugurated, President-elect Barack Obama is already playing hardball with Congress. Obama says he wants the release of the remaining $350 billion in federal bailout funds. He vowed to veto any move to block the money. NEW YORK (AP) Credit markets are beginning to thaw after months of a deep freeze. Companies are selling bonds at a pace not seen since last spring. At the same time, companies are finding it easier to issue commercial paper, the short-term loans necessary for quick access to cash. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) Yahoo has named Carol Bartz as its new chief executive. The decision to lure the 60-year-old Bartz from software maker Autodesk ended Yahoo's two-month search to replace Jerry Yang, the genial, soft-spoken co-founder of the struggling Internet company.
