COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) Jarod Palmer scored in overtime as Miami of Ohio beat St. Cloud State 2-1 today in the Ohio Hockey Classic.

The Huskies opened the scoring at 7:36 of the second period on a power-play goal by Andreas Nodl. Miami of Ohio tied it at 13:16 of the third on a goal by Justin Mercier and Palmer netted the game-winner 1:20 into the extra frame.

Ohio State and Harvard were paired in the other bracket of the tournament in Columbus, Ohio.
