Montana State Billings hires Dana Cordova as Volleyball coach Eds: APNewsNow.

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) Montana State University-Billings has named Dana Cordova its new head coach for women's volleyball.

The school's athletics director, Gary Gray, announced the hiring Thursday.

Cordova has spent the past eight years as head volleyball coach at Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colo. While at Otero, she guided the Lady Rattlers to a 174-155 record and six seasons winning 20 or more matches. The 29 wins were the most for Otero in 17 years.

Cordova replaces Sara Schaub, who took the head coaching position at Montana State-Bozeman.

Schaub guided the MSU-B Yellowjackets to an 18-10 record and a 10-8 mark in their first year in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. The Yellowjackets return all but two players from last season.
