T-Wolves to Play at Civic Center

Don't want to drive all the way to Minneapolis to watch NBA Basketball, well you're in luck.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are coming to us.

Timberwolves VP of Basketball Opertaion, Kevin McHale was in Bismarck today to make the announcement.

The game will be a preseason game at the Bismarck Civic Center, October 19th.

The Wolves will host the Denver Nuggets, this is the fourth time the Wolves have played a preseason game in Bismarck.

In 2004, the last time, the game was held her it was sold it.

After a tough season last year, where the Timberwolves went 22 and 60 this year they plan to bounce back in a big way.

They've got big name draft choice Kevin Love, and other Wolves from last season re-signed to new contracts.

And there's a familiar face in former Wizard Blake Ahearn who also has a chance to make this years squad, he's been in Wolves camp this summer.

Tickets go on sale for the game Saturday August 16th at 10 am. The prices ranges from 20 to 90 dollars. The game is on Sunday October 19th at 5:30 central. watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
