Associated Press BUTTE, Mont. (AP) Former Butte High wrestler and assistant coach Kevin Parvinen has been recommended for the job of head wrestling coach at his alma mater. His hiring must be approved by the school board at its meeting next Monday. Parvinen was a two-time state champion wrestler in the 1980s. He has served as assistant under for the past three years under Jim Street, who resigned in April. In May, Parvinen was one of three finalists for the head coaching job, which was given to Abe Boomer. Boomer recently resigned, citing coNFLicts with his job.
