Tiny NW Minn. school has big winning streakAug 28 2008 10:04AM
Associated Press ARGYLE, Minn. (AP) A tiny northwestern Minnesota high school has a big Football winning streak. Stephen-Argyle Central High School, with 103 students, plays nine-man football. The school has won its last 67 games including five straight state nine-man championships. But athletic director and assistant coach Kevin Kuznia says those numbers aren't brought up on the field. Kuznia says the team takes "a one-game approach, and the kids never hear anything about a winning streak from the coaches." Stephen-Argyle Central opens the season tonight (Thursday night) against the Ada-Borup Cougars in Argyle.
