MSU-Billings women's Basketball signs 2 recruits Eds: APNewsNow.

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) Montana State-Billings women's basketball coach Kevin Woodin has announced the signing of two players.

Signing with the Lady Yellowjackets are Laura Jo Kipp of Browning and Melissa Porter of Redmond, Utah.

Kipp, a 6-foot freshman, averaged 17 points, 11 rebounds and six assists per game as a senior at Browning High School in 2002.

Porter is a 6-3 freshman and three-time all-state player at North Sevier High School. She helped her team win a state championship as a sophomore. She is a member of the MSU-Billings Volleyball team.

Woodin says the players will provide the team with depth and talent at the post position.
