Bemidji is a small town and that is what makes it even better because in a small town like this, people know you and they know who you are and they know you by name and that is what makes it great, because people come up to you all the time and say 'we are pulling for you' and even people that aren't from Bemidji, maybe even people who are Sioux fans, who say 'we are rooting for Bemidji, we want Bemidji to pull it out. " The Beavers will battle Miami of Ohio in the semifinals of the 'Frozen Four' this coming Thursday. One other local connection...BSU head coach Tom Serratore is the uncle of Bismarck Bobcat Tim Serratore.
