DILLON, Mont. (AP) A 5-foot-8 outside hitter/middle blocker from Sheridan, Mont., Katie Degel, has signed a Frontier Conference/NAIA letter to play Volleyball for the University of Montana Western.

Degel played one year at Sheridan College and transfers to Montana Western from the University of Great Falls. She is a graduate of Twin Bridges High School, where she earned all-state honors in volleyball, Basketball and track.

In the classroom she was on the honor roll in each of her four years at Twin Bridges and was selected to the dean's list at Sheridan College.

Degel is majoring in biology.
