Awaiting autopsy resultsNov 8 2004 12:00AM
http://www.kxmb.com/ The state medical examiner is doing the autopsy. Adams County Sheriff Eugene Molbert says he may hear the results today. The remains haven't been officially identified. But authorities say they could be either Norman or Yvonne Olson. The retired Hettinger couple has been missing since mid-August. The Olsons' car was found last week parked in a farm building outside of Hettinger. The human remains were found two days later, during a search of the surrounding area. Molbert says there isn't enough evidence to say whether somebody else was involved in the disappearance. Relatives say 73-year-old Norman Olson was suffering from the early stages of Alzheimer's disease. But officers aren't sure if Norman Olson's mental condition played a role in the couple's disappearance. |
