A Morton County man is arrested after he shot his neighbors dog.

It happened Saturday west of Mandan.

The man told Morton County Sheriffs deputies he shot the dog because it was coming after him.

Authorities say the dog was sixty feet from the man.

He was arrested for cruelty to animals, disorderly conduct, terrorizing and reckless endangerment. watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
