KXMCTV Minot However one area that has been untouched and overlooked is now stepping into the festival lime-light. The area of northern Norway, north of the Arctic Circle, called Tromso has sent representatives for the first time ever to Norsk Hostfest. This afternoon at the Arctic Reception, people from Tromso dressed in their traditional garb, sang traditional songs and introduced their culture and way of life to Hostfest-goers... (Svein Erik Setermo, Tromso, Norway) "Especially in northern part of Norway we are really into taking care of our heritage together with the Somic people and Klem people so they play an important part of how we like to present our country." Setermo says they hope this is the first of many visits to the Norsk Hostfest and hope entice others to visit Tromso north of the Arctic Circle.
