KXMCTV Minot The flags and national anthems of all five Scandinavian nations, plus Canada and the US are presented. The tribute includes various guests getting a chance to carry the flag or sing the anthem. Today was a special day for the woman carrying Sweden's flag. Linda Olson had her granddaughter Eden beside her for the march down the aisle to the stage. And it's not the first time - this is her third granddaughter to get a chance to be a part of the flag ceremony... (Linda Olson, 100% Swedish) "I was talking to a son that lives in Minneapolis telling him about this and he said, Oh Mom, you're in your glory, and I said, You bet I am. I had three sons and now they have all these granddaughters, it's just wonderful." Olson says she's looking forward to sharing the experience with the rest of her six granddaughters at future Hostfests. The flag ceremony is held each day at Noon, in advance of the 1pm start for the headline entertainment at Hostfest's main stage.
