Police identify N. Idaho drowning victimOct 27 2009 10:51AM
Associated Press HOPE, Idaho (AP) Authorities in northern Idaho say they have identified a body found floating in Lake Pend Oreille as a 59-year-old Montana woman. The Bonner County Sheriff Department identified the victim Monday as Joan Lyons, of Troy, Mont. Her body was found Thursday in water near Kramer's Marina in Hope, Idaho. Lt. Doug Harris says an autopsy determined drowning as the cause of death. Harris says there are no signs of foul play. The Spokesman-Review reports that autopsy reports will be completed next month. Investigators say Lyons was living on a sailboat docked at the marina during the week and was working in the Sandpoint area.
