Associated Press PIERRE, S.D. (AP) The 20th anniversary of legal gambling in Deadwood is next week. But Ken Gienger, president of the Deadwood Gaming Association, says casino operators still aren't ready to ask voters for permission to add craps and roulette. Any move to allow the changes would have to be approved by voters statewide. SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) The Indoor Football League has approved transferring the ownership of a Sioux Falls team. A news release from the Sioux Falls Storm says local businessman Todd Tryon bought the team from KT LLC. He'll act as CEO, president and general manager for the team. Details of the deal weren't immediately available. PARKER, S.D. (AP) A man accused of running a puppy mill in rural Hurley pleaded not guilty yesterday to multiple counts of inhumane treatment of animals. A trial date has not yet been set for Dan Christensen. Authorities say 172 dogs were taken from his farm in early September. FORT PIERRE, S.D. (AP) A Fort Pierre man has pleaded not guilty to 26 felony charges involving sex crimes against children. Bruce Hofer is free on bail. Prosecutors say the crimes involve three juveniles and were committed from September 2007 through September this year. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press.
