Parshall Football

In 9 man Football quarterfinals the Parshall Whiteshield Braves will play host to the Wells County Bears.

The two played earlier in the season and the Bears came out on top with the win. Braves coach Mark Grueneich feels his defense is going to have to play at a high level tomorrow to stop the Bears high powered running attack.

(MARK GRUENEICH)"The key for victory for us is going to be that our defense is going to have to step up and control there running game. Because the last time we played them they did they rushed for over 400 yards and we just can't have that happen again. One of the things were really trying to focus on this week is gap responsibility making sure that we have contain and then were just going to have to pursue and fly to the ball because they do have not just one good running back their tailback has good speed as well. There not just one dimensional. "

(JAREN ENOCKSON)"Keep outside contain, a lot of times we blitz and we leave the other side open and they cut back a lot. That's how they scored most of their points last time."

(D.J. NEZ)"We're just going to have to block, keep blocking, and play good defense and just clog up the middle." watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
