USDA approves $46M in loans for Jamestown hospitalOct 31 2009 6:12PM
Associated Press JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) Construction of the Jamestown Regional Medical Center is expected to begin this fall, thanks to $46 million in loans from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The hospital's board announced on Friday that it was awarded the loans. Board chairman Harvey Huber said the money will allow construction of the $52 million hospital to begin soon. The project is expected to take 20 months to complete. The USDA approved $31 million in direct loans and $15 million in guaranteed bank loans for the project through its Community Facilities Program.
