Mandan, N.D. (AP) A 21-year-old New Salem man has died in a rollover accident in south-central North Dakota.

The state Highway Patrol said Cody Wetzel was westbound on Morton County Road 139, about 10 miles west of Mandan, when his 2000 Chevrolet Impala left the road about 11:45 a.m. Saturday.

Wetzel overcorrected, spun off the blacktop and rolled into a steep ravine, with his car flipping onto its roof.

Wetzel, who wasn't wearing seat belts, was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
